Rabies in Bali - To cull or not to cull?

The outbreak of rabies in Bali that has lasted a couple of years and killed 118 Balinese locals, has been reported in the world's media, prompting many visitors to question and in some cases no doubt, cancel their trip to Bali. Expats tend to be in the 'cull the filthy creatures' camp or the 'save Bali dogs' camp.


An editorial by the Bali Times (never afraid to cut loose with opinion!) explains a 'dangerous liaison between the Bali government and the 'I love Bali dogs' crowd in Ubud.
