As witnessed  recently and reported in the local press one thing never changes in Bali. That is the 2 most dangerous things for a tourist are traffic and the ocean. Its the same every year. Just this week 2 news reports came in stating a US Navy Seal, war veteran, Middle East soldier etc. had been killed in Bali while on R&R riding a scooter. Another reported that a 60 year old tourist from Austria drowned at Nusa Lembongan while going for a leisurely dip.
