An early dry season for Bali?

The year of 2010 will be remembered as the year of no dry season. Exceptionally wet conditions persisted thrroughout the year and made some people wonder if they' will ever see sunny days again.

The recent arrival of strong westerly winds could be an indicator of an early dry season for Bali. Westerly's usually start to show up in February, but they came around this year in late December. Windy conditions in Bali mean no rain so hopefully if the westerly's continue Bali will be into a long peroid of sunny weather.
