Sage Erickson Put's a Smile on The Bali Surf Community O'Neill's Sage Erickson, fresh off her tour success in Europe has made one lucky little girl's day in Bali. 11 year old Cinta Hansel, from Bali - Indonesia was the winner of O'Neill's  'Surf With Sage Day' . An online Facebook competition held by O'Neill Indonesia, where contestants had to submit a comment as to why they wanted to win the opportunity to surf with the Californian sensation, the winner to be chosen by Sage herself. Hanging out in Bali  for the ASP Oakley World Pro Junior's, Sage was all too eager to get involved with the Initiative "I've been coming to Bali for years now and have always wanted to get more involved with the beautiful Balinese community here"  said Sage, "I chose Cinta Hansel as the winner as her comment was really inspiring and encouraging as a surfer, we all start young with whatever passion or journey we wish to pursue in life. With Cinta being so young and striving to be a pro, I would love the chance to give back to her and hopefully help her dream come true." "The chance for any aspiring surfer to get an opportunity to spend a day surfing and hanging out  with a pro is a pretty special thing. Whether they're young and aiming for the top or 40 years old and have just begun, to see how these athletes carry themselves both in and out of the water is very inspiring. In this case young Cinta Hansel is one of Bali's home grown up and comers with a real big future, for her to be in Sage's company for the day put a big smile on everyone's face! When Cinta's father, local ex pat shaper Bruce Hansel was notified he was over the moon with the news of his daughter surfing with Sage. The prize not only earned Cinta a day surfing and hanging out with Sage, but also a shopping spree in the recently opened O'Neill flagship store in Oberoi. But it wasn't over yet. To cap the day off Sage put a big smile on everyones face when she handed over one more surprise for the lucky little one - Sage's signed custom team  Al Merrick surfboard complete with her own artwork which she has been gaining a reputation for.
