British people arrested in Bali for cocaine trafficking

Travel safe in Bali - Travel insurance from Worldnomads.com

Seems drug traffickers never tire of trying to buck the system and show no fear / awareness of the consequences of getting busted. The lasted Bali drugs drama started on May 19th when Mrs. Sandiford, a 56 year housewife landed in Bali with 4.6kg of cocaine. After a police grilling she gave up the name of her accomplices and set them up in a sting operation (listening drug mules? This is what happens in your line of work).

The sex of Mrs. Sandiford and the fact that she gave up her colleagues will save her from death. She'll most likely get life or some other lengthy sentence. With the other characters it will depend upon the amount of provable involvement in the large amounts mentioned.

Balivillascafe says:

These people are trailer trash. They made their choice and will have to deal with it.
