Surf Film Festival in Bali; kicking off tomorrow!
The countdown has begun and the anticipation is mounting as Ombak Bali Surf Film Festival gets ready to take centre stage on the beach at Seminyak?s La Plancha, with three action-filled nights of movies and music.
South East Asia?s one and only surf film festival will once again screen the best and latest in surf films from this Thursday August 23 to Sunday August 26. Due to a big Hindu ceremony on Friday night August 24 the beach will be closed and all planned screenings for this night will move to Sunday August 26. Check the website for the last update.
Don?t miss the never-ending Sumatran river waves, the radical Hawaiian body surfers, the West African roadtrip, the surf stories from the 70?s, Brazil?s underground surf movement, the fear fighting surfers in South Africa and much, much more
Not only are we showing the latest surf films right on the sand in Seminyak, there will be some tunes as well. Not to miss this year is pro surfer Ozzie Wright?s band ?Goons of Doom? playing Saturday August 25 right before the films ?Not for Sale? and ?Here & Now?, which both feature him. Spinning after the films are DJ?s Juss B and Gareth.
Catch us at La Plancha daily between sunset and 11pm. Best of all, it?s FREE and outdoors. Kick back with your feet in the sand and the ocean as your backdrop as you are treated to the best new surf films around.
See you on Seminyak beach at 7.00pm Thursday night.
Thanks
