All clear on earthquakes in Bali...for now

After the massive earthquake hit Japan on Friday many people in Indonesia were thinking that a tsunami could make it way here. A quick look at a map would tell you that would be extremely unlikely due to the fact that there are islands blocking Java and Bali from the tsunami's epicenter. Still that didn't stop some attrtention seeking Bali expats form sounding the alarm telling relatives on Skype "We're geting ready for the tsunami, we'll stay in contact etc." Some people just need to make a drama I guess.

Bali residents had a small taste of what the people in Japan felt at 1.15am the same day when a 6.2 earthquake rattled Bali. Many expats report waking up or even geting out of bed. According to media reports there were no injuries or damage.
