Renting a motorbike in Bali

Renting a motorbike in Bali is very easy and not overly expensive. Having you own transport allows you to conserve your energy, cover greater distances and really explore the local area or even the whole island yourself.

Advise for renting a motorbike in Bali.
1. Look for a renter with decent looking bikes. If you are not so experienced with motorbikes ask for a Honda Vario, which is fully automatic.
2. Always ask for a helmet.
3. Bring your international driving licence.
4. Pick up a business card (cartu nama) from the renter so you'll remember where you got the bike and be able to call in case of accident.
5. Don't leave the reg inside the bike. If its stolen it means the bike is really gone.
6. Rental prices go down the lonrger you rent. A month will be 500,000rp-600,000rp.
