La Plancha and Potato Head - Cool new venues in Bali

Nightspots and restaurants in Bali come and go and sometimes there are some cool surprises. Two of the newest places to arrive are La Plancha and Potato Head.

La Plancha is a wood-framed beach shack, literally on the beach between Gado Gado at Jl. Dhyana Pura and AJ Hackett's at Double Six nightclub. Open on all sides, with giant day-glo cushions set out on the sand, La Plancha serves snacks including tapas. Rocking on New Year, La Plancha is a cool place for sunset.

Potato Head is a massive beachfront place built on Jl. Petitenget. It has a sister location in Jakarta and was rocking over the Christmas / New Years scene. Potato Head looks like being a contender for the big crowds in 2011.
