Australia has a travel warning against Bali right now due to the Legionnaires disease scare. This prompted Bali's governor to deliver tough words for the offending hotels found to be the scene of the outbreak. The Jakarta Globe quotted governor Pastika as saying, “I have instructed all hotels here to regularly clean their swimming pools and air-conditioners,” “No need to name the hotels,” “But they have been summoned and sternly warned.”
The hotels in which 11 tourists are thought to have contracted the Legionnaires disease have been issued a warning, he said.
According to Wikipedia Legionnaires disease is transmitted when bacteria from reservoirs such as pipes, boilers and tanks becomes airborne and is inhaled.
