Not everyone likes Bali

Bali fans will appreciate things about coming to Bali such a the people, the scenery, the culture, the food, the relaxed nature of the place. We take this for granted but not everybody feels the same way about Bali. BaliNewsBlog came across 2 ladies on holiday from Australia who were having some doubts about the Island of the Gods.

One was voicing serious doubts about the 'cosmopolitan' tag often given to Seminyak, the state of the local food, the 'friendly face' used by pushy touts and the overall worth of the place as a destination.

For sure some people need a modern, dressy, up to the minute location for their holiday. They want to feel as if they are in a special place, that other 'special people' are drawn to, experiencing something special together.

Bali isn't Monte Carlo, it is a village that has spread and morphed into a tourist destination. For those that like what Bali offers, please keep coming. For those who need Paris in the spring, its waiting for you, though maybe a bit further than Bali.
